Upper right corner starts with the “End of Summer Happy Hour,” a party that started out with a 30x40 blank canvas and ended with a “beautiful” piece of artwork (that’s Jay and Meg Paonessa painting), below that is a crowd shot of the party, as well as the cornhole players that took over the mid-section of the gallery space (Michael Maes is the guy with his back to the camera, flip flops on), in the lower right is Diane Pomierski, the artist-of-honor who held her exhibition entitled Sexo-Expo in the Maes Studio space earlier in the year, last, in the upper left corner is a nice shot of the space on a typical day. It a great studio and the perfect space for an art show (plus, there's a stage in the back for readings). |
